| Feedbacking up Dear Readers, I am going to take this opportunity to answer the two most frequently asked questions here at Orion's Child. Many of you want to know why we publish so late into the issue month, i.e. Why is July 2008's issue not being released until July 20, 2008? This is because, in the past technical dilemmas and real-world work issues have at times derailed publication. Not wanting to short-sell (figure of speech, bear with me) any of our very talented contributors, we had just pushed back publication dates. And they got stuck there. To remedy this, we will be stepping back the publication dates over the next few months, until, by October we should be releasing a new issue right around the first of each month. The second most frequently asked question concerns feedback. Many of you contributors have asked me--so what are people saying about my story/art/article? And the answer to this is: Sometimes a little and sometimes a lot. Some issue have gotten loads of e-mail, and some have received virtually none. More and more people are viewing the pages each month, however, so I encourage our readers to drop us a line whenever they feel they really like or dislike something. Criticisms are welcome at Orion's Child--for without critique we do not grow. And if a Critique is well-reasoned, thoughtful and polite (even if you hated what you saw or read) we'll publish your words, whether they laud or lament, in the Planetfall page. After all, we do realize that not everyone loves what we do. So once again, I thank you for your readership and I ask that you continue to read, submit, and comment on Orion's Child Magazine.
